Practical Block for students of the department for Orthopaedics and Trauma Surgery

Beginning with the Somme semester 2010 the usual practical block for orthopaedics and trauma surgery will be reduced from 42 hours to 25,5 hours. This is in accordance with the new guidelines for advanced education. Practical blocks will be held during a one week period.

Every Monday at 07:15 am s.t. we will meet at the INZ-Building (Interdisciplinary Emergency Center) in one of the basement lecture rooms (Seminarraum 017).

The practical block takes place Monday till Thursday from 07:00 am s.t. till 12:30 pm. Fridays from 07:00 am s.t. till 10:30 am.

The participants will be split up in small groups one junior physician per two participants.

A daily seminar will be held Monday till Thursday between 11:00 am and 12:30 pm. Fridays seminar starts at 09:00 am and ends at 10:30 am.

Attendance will be checkt via a docket.
